This gorgeous bride-to-be came to me with a vision for a timeless classic engagement session here in Marin County. As a talented stylist, her inspiration for this portrait session was simple and elegant. We chose this secluded Sausalito Beach location just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and I couldn’t be any more in love with this session.

The couple wanted their photos to feel effortless and authentic, and they truly brought that energy with them. As a stylist, I can always count on Jerri to show up looking flawless. This session was no exception. She chose classic, neutral-toned outfits that complemented the natural surroundings. The overcast skies added a dreamy, almost cinematic quality to the photos, with the film capturing every soft hue and subtle detail.

I’m a broken record when it comes to my love of film. I couldn’t be any more passionate about the timeless nature of this medium. The earthy tones and soft contrast transcend decades of trends, and there’s a hint of nostalgia in being photographed the same way as generations of family before you.
