2020 is here! I vividly remember counting the years until 2000, and somehow two decades have passed since we hit that milestone. I’m entering the new year with a renewed passion to shoot connection based portraits on film. Why film? If you’ve shot with me recently, I’d like to think that I’ve made you a believer already. I think film speaks for itself. The tones, the grain, the richness- try as we might, they can’t fully be replicated on digital. I believe film supports my mission to cherish moments, emotions, and connections over perfection. While I will continue to shoot “hybrid” (digital + film) this year, I’m looking forward to leaning further into artistic lifestyle portraiture on film. I can’t wait to share this magic with you! 

And last but not least, about this session! I reached out to Tiffany of All Together Collective in January because her project really spoke to me. She’s knee deep in creating a space to support women in pursuing their goals. Bonus points- the light in this space she’s building is really great.
