When I photograph families, my goal isn’t to create a perfectly posed picture. Instead, I want to document who you are together. Whether it’s the way your child holds your hand, a quiet embrace, the unfiltered laughter during an unexpected moment, or even pouty faces from a little one, film allows me to capture those fleeting interactions with artistry and sincerity.

I adore the simplicity of this session. I suggest every family schedule an in-home session at some point in their children’s early years. It’s a great way to document childhood in an intimate, authentic way.

It is always a joy to work with Sophie James at their gorgeous winery high up on Sonoma Mountain. Sophie’s creativity and enthusiasm are contagious, so creating with her always leaves me feeling inspired.
