The new year brought a rush of newborn photography sessions my way, and I have no complaints. Lifestyle photography is perfect for this phase of life. It doesn’t take much prompting to get new parents to stare in awe at their new addition. Capturing the love and adoration of new parents is a close second to getting those squishy newborn photos. It’s a really special time that’s worth preserving.

I talk endlessly about why I believe in shooting film instead of chasing trends in digital photography. I think it’s especially important when photographing newborn babies.
