The new year brought a rush of newborn photography sessions my way, and I have no complaints. Lifestyle photography is perfect for this phase of life. It doesn’t take much prompting to get new parents to stare in awe at their new addition.

As a hybrid shooter (film + digital), I get a lot of questions about what’s in my camera bag. It’s no secret that I am absolutely obsessed with film. I could go on and on about why I, as a photographer, prefer to shoot film.
